About Your Stay  

It is our desire that your stay at Ozarks Healthcare be as comfortable and beneficial as possible. Because this is your hospital, and your recovery is our prime concern, our staff of skilled personnel and volunteers will work closely with your physician to speed your recovery.

You will be placed on a hospital unit designed for the type of care you will require during your stay at Ozarks Healthcare. Your meals, activity, treatment and medication will be prescribed according to your doctor's orders

Medications

There may be medications you take on an ongoing basis. We need to know what medications you are currently taking. For your safety, please give these to your nurse upon arrival. Do not take any over-the-counter drugs while you are in the hospital. Discuss medication needs with your doctor or nurse.

Valuables, dentures, eyeglasses and hearing aids

Please bring only the items you need for your stay at Ozarks Healthcare. We encourage you not to bring large amounts of money, jewelry, or other valuables. We regret that we cannot be responsible for valuables kept in your room. For your convenience, you can deposit valuables for safekeeping at the time of your admission. You will be given a receipt for your valuables and can reclaim them when you are dismissed.

If you wear dentures, we will provide a special container to protect them from damage or loss when you are not using them. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please place them in their protective cases and put them in your bedside table drawer. If you wear a hearing aid, please take special care to prevent loss or breakage.
