Do I Need Pulmonary Rehab?
You may benefit from rehabilitation if you have a history of:
- COPD (emphysema or chronic bronchitis)
- Bronchiectasis
- Sarcoidosis
- Pulmonary hypertension
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Interstitial lung disease
- Lung surgery
- Pulmonary fibrosis
The program doesn’t replace medications but empowers you to control your health and quality of life.
What to Expect
We’ll assess your symptoms, health history and goals to make a rehabilitation plan just for you. It will likely include:
- Supervised physical activity
- Nutrition counseling
- Education on managing your condition
- Breathing exercises
- Support from your peers and the rehab team
Depending on your needs, you’ll participate in rehabilitation sessions twice or thrice a week for four to 12 weeks.
