Cardiac Rehabilitation
Take steps to a stronger heart and a healthier life through cardiac rehabilitation at Ozarks Healthcare. It’s an outpatient program, which means you visit the cardiac fitness center near you in West Plains for your daytime rehab sessions and go home afterward.
Is Cardiac Rehab Right for Me?
Cardiac rehab is a medically supervised exercise and education program. It’s designed to help you:
- Recover after a heart attack
- Heal after a procedure, such as heart surgery, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), balloon angioplasty, stent placement, or valve replacement
- Manage a chronic (long-term) heart condition, such as heart failure
Pre-Rehabilitation Evaluation
Before you start the program, you’ll have a one-on-one meeting with a member of our team to make sure cardiac rehab is right for you. You can fill out any needed paperwork during this appointment and discuss your program goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized rehabilitation plan that’s safe and effective.
