2023 Annual Art Competition and Show

To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center, in collaboration with the West Plains Council for the Arts, is hosting an Art Competition and Show. Selected entries will be featured at the West Plains Civic Center from May 22-31, 2023.

This year's theme is "Pieces of Me"

Art Competition Rules

  • There will be three categories:
    • Adult (18+)
    • High School (9th-12th grade)
    • Youth (8th grade and below)
  • All projects must be submitted to Ozarks Healthcare's BHC in West Plains by May 5, 2023.
  • Projects may be any medium.
  • Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for all categories, with one overall winner.
  • Entries may be displayed at your local library, online, or at the accompanying OZH BHC Art Show. The art show will run from May 22 – 31 at the West Plains Civic Center. More information about the show will be shared at a later date.
  • A "Meet the Artist" event will be held Friday, May 26, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m., at the West Plains Civic Center.
