Ahead of the holidays, Ozarks Healthcare is sharing hours of operation for some of its locations.

Ozarks Healthcare is dedicated to helping expectant parents prepare for childbirth long before the arrival of a baby. The health system will be offering classes to assist parents-to-be in 2023 to help prepare them for those first moments with their newborn.

Ozarks Healthcare and the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), sole supplier of blood, platelets, and plasma to patients at 44 area healthcare facilities, will host a blood drive on Wednesday, Dec. 28, from noon until 6 p.m. at the Willard Hunter Classroom in the Ozarks Healthcare Parkway Center at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.

Ozarks Healthcare (OZH) announced the health system is expanding its acclaimed pharmacy services and prescription offerings to include complete specialty pharmacy services. The Ozarks Healthcare Specialty Pharmacy will provide medications for people in southern Missouri with severe or chronic health conditions.

Ozarks Healthcare announced that it is the first healthcare system in the region to implement Intuitive Surgical’s Ion Endoluminal Robotic Bronchoscopy Platform. This cutting-edge, robotic-assisted technology will enhance the care of patients with lung abnormalities, detect lung cancer earlier, and improve outcomes.

Lacey Carter, Executive Director of Nursing at Ozarks Healthcare, has been promoted to Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) of the health system. As CNO, Carter will oversee the management and operations of all nursing services across Ozarks Healthcare.

Ozarks Healthcare is inviting families and community members to attend several holiday events and photo ops that will be hosted at its main campus through the 2022 holiday season.
