The Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy is continuing to expand its services with the opening of its new location within Ozarks Healthcare’s new main entrance (Medical Office Building) on Aug. 1.

Dr. David Lish, podiatrist, has joined Ozarks Healthcare Podiatry as a new provider. Lish joins Dr. Rex Goodman in treating foot and ankle injuries and conditions, arthritis, diabetic foot issues, and more through surgical and non-surgical care.

Dr. Scott Roush, provider at Ozarks Healthcare Family Care (previously, Ozarks Family Care) in West Plains, is now traveling on Fridays to see patients at Ozarks Healthcare in Alton. A native of Alton, Roush says he is excited to connect with his hometown and continue to provide compassionate care in an additional setting.

Jordan Miller, occupational therapist, and Jamie Lowman, physical therapist, both working at Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove, spent the last few months helping some of Ozarks Healthcare’s smallest community members with big challenges enjoy one of the sweetest summer traditions: the game of t-ball. After working with a patient one day, Miller said she had an idea to start “Abili-T-Ball,” an adaptive little league program designed for players with special needs.

Trisha Vigna, board-certified nurse practitioner at Ozarks Healthcare in Gainesville, will conduct free athletic physicals for student athletes entering grades 7 through 12 in the 2022 – 2023 school year at the Bakersfield R-IV School District on Wednesday, July 13, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. No appointment is necessary. The school is located at 357 St. Hwy. O in Bakersfield.

Ozarks Healthcare Therapies will be offering a pediatric yoga class for kids to improve muscle strength, coordination, concentration, and body awareness. Yoga has been proven to help children manage anxiety, regulate emotions, boost self-esteem, and increase mindfulness. It can also help children develop discipline and reduce impulsivity.

Ozarks Healthcare At Home: Hospice recently honored Jack Butler for his military service with a “We Honor Veterans” ceremony. Butler served in the U.S. Marine Corps and received a Bronze Star for his service in the Vietnam War.

To help its community prepare for the upcoming school year, Ozarks Healthcare will offer free athletic physicals for student athletes for the 2022 – 2023 school year.
