Ozarks Healthcare recently welcomed David Benalcazar, MD, board-eligible general surgeon, to Ozarks Healthcare General Surgery as a new provider. Benalcazar joins provider Anthony Campbell, DO, in providing expert, general surgery backed by the total resources of the Ozarks Healthcare system.

Beth Reeves-Lilly, registered nurse (RN) from Ozarks Healthcare’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), was recently honored with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses for the level of care she demonstrated to a patient and her family. The DAISY Award is part of the DAISY Foundation's programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

Ozarks Healthcare Gainesville is adding a mental health professional from the Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (BHC) to their clinic staff. Beginning Aug. 7, Kristina Ledbetter, mental health therapist, will begin seeing patients at the clinic on Mondays.

Ozarks Healthcare At Home: Hospice recently honored Carl Owens of Caulfield, Missouri, for his military service with a “We Honor Veterans” ceremony. Owens served in the 5th U.S. Army Infantry during the Korean War.
