  • Extraordinary Nurses recognized with Daisy Awards at Ozarks Healthcare 11/3/2021

    Katie Wilson, Amber Bowman, and Tabitha Young, all registered nurses (RNs) at Ozarks Healthcare, were recently honored with The DAISY Award® For Extraordinary Nurses. The award is part of the DAISY Foundation's programs to recognize the super-human efforts nurses perform every day. All three nurses were nominated for their rapid response to Ozarks Healthcare’s Women’s Center during a critical time for a patient and family. Wilson, Bowman, and Young were commended for their excellent nursing skill, strength, and compassion shown during the emergency and the comfort and consolement they provided to the patient’s family.

  • Ozarks Healthcare to hold COVID-19 Booster Clinics Nov. 2 and 5 11/1/2021

    The Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy will offer booster doses of the Moderna, Pfizer/Comirnaty, and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines to eligible individuals on a walk-in basis on Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pharmacy located at #18 Parkway Center at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.

  • Ozarks Healthcare Mental Health Therapist shares Importance of Mammograms after Personal Breast Cancer Experience 10/28/2021

    This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we continue to share the importance of mammograms. Having been impacted directly by breast cancer, several of our own staff have decided to share their experiences with us. Following the launch of the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation’s fundraising campaign for a mobile mammography unit, Lora Hand, mental health therapist at the Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (BHC), was especially excited to share some of her breast cancer journey in hopes of encouraging others to take the importance of screening seriously.

  • Mammoth Spring Church of Christ donates Appliances and Refreshments to Ozarks Healthcare Staff 10/21/2021

    The Mammoth Spring Church of Christ, located in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, recently gifted miniature refrigerators stocked with beverages to Ozarks Healthcare’s staff for use in an employee rejuvenation area located in Ozarks Healthcare’s hospital.

  • West Plains Daily Quill presents Donation for the Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center 10/21/2021

    The West Plains Daily Quill recently presented a donation of $460 to the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation for the Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center. The proceeds were donated directly to a fund that helps patients at Ozarks Healthcare’s Cancer Treatment Center who may need assistance with costs related to housing, travel, groceries, utility bills, and more.

  • Willow Springs Woman gifts Self-care and Newborn Items to Ozarks Healthcare’s Women’s Center Staff and Patients 10/21/2021

    Helen Pshichenko of Willow Springs, Missouri, recently gifted gift baskets filled with outfits, books, stuffed animals, soap, and other items to Ozarks Healthcare’s Women’s Center to distribute among patients and their families. She also provided gifts for the nurses that work in Ozarks Healthcare’s Women’s Center.
