    Ozarks Healthcare’s Laboratory Services was recently awarded an “outstanding” accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Ozarks Healthcare’s Laboratory receives a CAP inspection every two years. The inspection is designed to ensure that the highest standard of care is being provided for all laboratory patients. Jim Renfrow, Director of Laboratory Services at Ozarks Healthcare, applauded staff for this national honor and recognition.

    Ozarks Healthcare was recently recognized through multiple awards at the 21st annual HealthCare Service Excellence Conference hosted earlier this month by Custom Learning Systems in La Jolla, California. The Summit Awards are a North American wide recognition program established and managed by the HealthCare Service Excellence Conference. Ozarks Healthcare and several staff members received awards for exceptional customer service achievements in healthcare, including quality of service for patients, quality of work life for professionals, and overall performance.

  • Ozarks Healthcare to relight Lights of Life this Christmas with 29th Annual Ceremony on Dec. 13 12/2/2021

    The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation will relight its Lights of Life project this holiday season to provide community members with an opportunity to recognize and honor the lives of loved ones. The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation’s Lights of Life project gives community members an opportunity to honor their loved ones by sponsoring a Christmas tree light with a donation of $10 or an ornament with a donation of $25. Lights and ornaments will be used to decorate a Christmas tree, which is displayed annually in the lobby of Ozarks Healthcare’s North Entrance.

  • Ozarks Healthcare announces Pediatric Vaccine Clinic for Nov. 19 11/9/2021

    Following the acceptance of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices’ recommendation for children age 5–11 to be vaccinated against COVID-19 from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) and Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, Ozarks Healthcare is now able to vaccinate children age 5 to 11 years old with an age-appropriate dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Ozarks Healthcare will host a pediatric COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Friday, Nov. 19, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Ozarks Healthcare’s Pediatrics location in West Plains.
