Ozarks Healthcare welcomes New Graduated Nurse Residents

Ozarks Healthcare is proud to announce the successful completion of its latest Nurse Residency Program, welcoming seven newly graduated registered nurses (RNs) to the Ozarks Healthcare team. These dedicated individuals have undergone an intensive eight-week training program, designed to provide them with the essential skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to excel in their nursing careers.

During the program, nurse residents rotated through approximately 28-30 different areas within the health system, immersing themselves in Ozarks Healthcare's values and professionalism.

This hands-on experience across a variety of departments has prepared these nurses to deliver exceptional patient care with confidence and compassion.

"We are honored to celebrate the commitment and enthusiasm of our newest nurse residents," Katie Johnson, Ozarks Healthcare Nurse Residency Coordinator, said. "Their dedication to learning and their passion for providing quality care align perfectly with our mission. We are excited to have them join our team and look forward to their contributions to our community's health."

Nurses from Ozarks Healthcare’s latest residency cohort have accepted positions in Ozarks Healthcare’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) Department, Ozarks Healthcare Hospice, and At Home.

The Nurse Residency Program at Ozarks Healthcare begins in January and June each year. To be eligible, applicants must have completed an RN program within six months and have current RN licensure, preferred or scheduled, with successful completion of the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) within 90 days.
