Ozarks Healthcare Foundation's Blue Jean Ball Raises Over $80,000 to Support Local Healthcare Initiatives

The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation is thrilled to announce that its 12th Annual Blue Jean Ball, held on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the picturesque Silver Springs Ranch, raised over $80,000 to benefit local healthcare initiatives and scholarships for residents pursuing healthcare careers.

This year's event drew over 600 attendees for a night of lively entertainment, including a performance by the Ben Oesch Band, a live DJ, and auctions led by Gary Sexton. Guests enjoyed activities such as a mechanical bull ride, a cake walk featuring locally made desserts, and unique vendor experiences, including permanent jewelry from Links by Leyla and a hat bar from Trendy Southwest Hippie.

After a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Blue Jean Ball returned to great excitement thanks to the generosity of Bryan and Ruth Wilcox of Silver Springs Ranch.

"We felt it was time to bring this beloved event back to reconnect with our community and continue supporting the important healthcare initiatives that impact our patients," Ken Joplin, Ozarks Healthcare Foundation Board Chairman, said. "The incredible turnout and support this year reaffirm why this event is so special to us all."

Proceeds from the event were donated initiatives that assist local patients in need, as well as scholarships to support students pursuing careers in healthcare.

“The Blue Jean Ball was an incredible opportunity for our community to come together in support of a cause that directly impacts the lives of local patients,” Josh Reeves, Vice President of Development at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “We are thrilled with the generosity of our attendees and sponsors, which will help fund healthcare services and educational scholarships for aspiring healthcare professionals.”
