Ozarks Healthcare Foundation launches Thrift Store in Gainesville to support Local Health System
The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce the opening of its newest thrift store in Gainesville to not only offer affordable goods to the community but also to significantly contribute to the enhancement of healthcare services in the region.
Strategically located at 516 Third St., this thrift store will join its counterparts in West Plains and Thayer in supporting the Foundation's mission of strengthening healthcare accessibility and quality.
A grand opening will be held at the store on Friday, May 17, at noon. The public is invited to attend. Afterwards, Ozarks Healthcare will host an additional ribbon cutting at its pharmacy at 512 Third St. in Gainesville. The Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and offers complete prescription services as well as many over-the-counter items.
With the presence of its medical facility, pharmacy, and now thrift store, Ozarks Healthcare has been a part of the Gainesville community for more than 30 years.
Every purchase made at the thrift store will directly benefit the local health system, as proceeds will be channeled into supporting Ozarks Healthcare. Through the Foundation's initiatives, funds generated will aid in the purchase of vital medical equipment, ensure access to healthcare services for patients in need, and support various programs aimed at enhancing patient care and wellness.
