Ozarks Healthcare receives KLAS Arch Collaborative Recognition
Ozarks Healthcare has received an Electronic Health Records (EHR) Experience Breakthrough recognition from the KLAS Arch Collaborative in Salt Lake City, Utah, for improvements the health system has made in the EHR experience for its providers and nurses. This recognition is given to organizations who improve their Net EHR Experience Score (NEES) by 15 or more points.
“We’re proud of the progress we have made in improving the EHR experience for our providers and nurses,” Dr. Priscilla A. Frase, Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Ozarks Healthcare, said. “An enhanced EHR experience is critical to our goal of enabling staff to provide better, evidence-based care through more effective use of the EHR.”
Healthcare provider members of the Arch Collaborative draw on the experience of hundreds of fellow organizations and the findings based on interviews with more than 500,000 clinicians regarding their EHR experience. The most effective, proven strategies are identified and made available for Arch members to learn from. This is the first year the Arch Collaborative has given the EHR Experience Breakthrough Recognition and more are planned in subsequent years.
Coray Tate, VP of Clinician Experience for the Arch Collaborative at KLAS Research, congratulated the recipients.
“These organizations recognized with the EHR Experience Breakthrough Recognition for improvement have made significant increases to their physician’s or nurse’s effectiveness with the EHR. Clinicians at these health systems are benefiting from their hard work to apply Collaborative-verified approaches to improving EHR experience. This is a win for nurses, physicians, and, ultimately, their patients.”
