In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, Ozarks Healthcare is ramping up its efforts to promote early detection by bringing its Mobile Mammography Unit to multiple communities across the region. Throughout October, Ozarks Healthcare aims to make mammograms more accessible than ever, offering advanced 3D breast screenings on the go. The Mobile Mammography Unit, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals who provide compassionate care.

Ozarks Healthcare’s Mammography Department is an Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certified and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) accredited center, offering a comprehensive range of breast care services.

Patients are advised to schedule their mammograms in advance by calling 417-257-5912, as appointments are limited.
To qualify for mammograms through Ozarks Healthcare's Mobile Mammography Unit, patients must meet specific criteria: be female and 40 years or older, have not had a mammogram in the past year, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, have no implants or breast issues such as discharge, lumps, pain, or discoloration, and have never been diagnosed with breast cancer.
