Ozarks Healthcare to open Pharmacy Space in New Main Entrance Aug. 1, expands Hours of Operation at Additional Pharmacy Locations
The Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy is continuing to expand its services with the opening of its new location within Ozarks Healthcare’s new main entrance (Medical Office Building) on Aug. 1.
On Friday, July 29, at noon, Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy located at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. within Parkway Center in West Plains will close to finish transitioning its retail services and staff for the public to its new its new location within Ozarks Healthcare’s new main entrance (Medical Office Building) located at 1100 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains. The new location will be open beginning Aug. 1, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers who previously picked up prescriptions at the Parkway Center location will be able to pick up prescriptions at the new location within Ozarks Healthcare’s new main entrance beginning Aug. 1.
“We are very excited for our community to be able to use our new pharmacy space located within Ozarks Healthcare’s latest expansion,” Katie Mahan, Director of Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy, said. “This space allows us to expand our space for staff to fill prescriptions and have a more open and convenient area for customers to come and pick up medication.”
Ozarks Healthcare will continue to administer COVID-19 vaccinations on a walk-in basis on MOST Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy located within Ozarks Healthcare’s new main entrance beginning Aug. 1. The pharmacy’s phone number, 417-256-1793, will remain the same. Those who have questions about prescriptions or vaccinations are asked to call for more information.
Also beginning Aug. 1, Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy located at 307 N. Kentucky Ave. in West Plains (previously named Bradford Pharmacy) will have expanded hours of operation (including its drive-thru) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays. Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy in Thayer, located at 1375 Nettleton Ave., will continue to operate during its normal business hours of Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (this includes drive-thru hours). Ozarks Healthcare’s Pharmacy in Thayer can be reached at 417-264-7115.
All Ozarks Healthcare Pharmacy customers can now take advantage of a mobile app called RxLocal for added convenience. RxLocal features in-app messaging, which allows customers to text Ozarks Healthcare’s pharmacists, and refill prescriptions while on-the-go. To download the RxLocal app, you can text RXLOCAL to 64890 or download RxLocal directly from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
