Ozarks Healthcare to host Family-friendly Holiday Activities for Community
Ozarks Healthcare is inviting families and community members to attend several holiday events and photo ops that will be hosted at its main campus through the 2022 holiday season.
“With the last two holiday seasons revolving heavily around sickness and the pandemic, we wanted this Christmas to be extra special for our community,” Tom Keller, Ozarks Healthcare President and CEO, said. “We are excited to share the joy of the upcoming holiday season with our community through multiple events at our main campus.”
Photos with Friends of Rudolph – Friday, Dec. 2
A photo op with characters from the beloved holiday classic film, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” will be available for the public from 3 to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, inside Ozarks Healthcare’s main entrance at 1100 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains. A professional photographer will not be on site, but all are welcome to snap photos with personal devices.
Photos with Elves from the North Pole – Wednesday, Dec. 7
A photo op with elves will be available for the public from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, inside Ozarks Healthcare’s main entrance at 1100 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains. A professional photographer will not be on site, but all are welcome to snap photos with personal devices. The elves will also be traveling through Ozarks Healthcare’s hospital to spread Christmas cheer.
Photos with Santa – Monday, Dec. 12
A photo op with Santa will be available for children from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12, prior to Ozarks Healthcare’s annual Christmas tree lighting inside Ozarks Healthcare’s main entrance at 1100 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains. A professional photographer will not be on site, but parents and guardians are welcome to snap photos with their own devices.
Lights of Life and Tree Lighting Ceremony – Monday, Dec. 12
The Ozarks Healthcare Foundation is inviting community members to honor the life of a loved one this holiday season with its 30th annual Lights of Life event. Lights of Life offers community members an opportunity to honor loved ones by sponsoring a Christmas tree light with a donation of ten dollars. Lights will be used to decorate Ozarks Healthcare’s new Christmas tree, which will be displayed within its main entrance.
A tree lighting ceremony will be held in conjunction with Lights of Life on Monday, Dec. 12, at 5 p.m. inside Ozarks Healthcare’s main entrance at 1100 Kentucky Ave. in West Plains. The tree lighting will include a brief ceremony followed by holiday refreshments and music.
To purchase a light, drop by the Ozarks Healthcare Foundation office located at #12 Parkway Center in West Plains anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
