Ozarks Healthcare to host Community Health Screening Event and Clinic Open House in Gainesville
Ozarks Healthcare is bringing some of its specialty health services to its location in Gainesville on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. to offer free health screenings and education to the Gainesville community.
“Being focused on our community’s health means that we are also focused on bringing specialty services closer to home for our patients and community,” Dr. Edward Henegar, provider at Ozarks Healthcare in Gainesville, said. “Our own staff and physicians along with several of our community health partners, are excited to offer more information and tools to our community to provide preventative healthcare at our health screening event.”
Free pulmonology, cardiology, rheumatology, sleep apnea, podiatry, women’s health, orthopedic, and more screenings will be offered by Ozarks Healthcare physicians to those who attend the event on Sept. 22. Ozarks Healthcare Therapies, including physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists, Behavioral Health Center (BHC), At Home, and Medical Equipment staff will also be present to offer readings, activities, and information regarding health services. The first 100 people in attendance will receive a free t-shirt.
Representatives from the Ozark County Ambulance District, Air Evac Lifeteam, and other health organizations in the area will also be onsite at the event.
