Ozarks Healthcare honors 70 Employees for over 1,200 Years of Service at Health System
Ozarks Healthcare recently celebrated a combined total of 1,218 years of experience at Ozarks Healthcare from 72 employees at its 2022 Longevity Banquet.
Ozarks Healthcare recognized coworkers annually who have dedicated ten or more years of service to serving the health of its community. Staff being celebrated this year were able to commemorate their service with a small gathering at Rubydoo’s Vintage Events in West Plains.
“One of our goals is to be the provider and employer of choice,” Tom Keller, Ozarks Healthcare President and CEO, said. “We can’t do that without our staff. It’s because of these staff being recognized and their hard work that we have been able to make significant strides to this goal.”
Ruth Warren, Senior Executive Assistant in Ozarks Healthcare’s Administration Department, received recognition for 48 years of service, the longest tenure of any Ozarks Healthcare staff member to date.
“Ruth started her career at Ozarks Healthcare (at the time, West Plains Memorial Hospital) 48 years ago,” Keller said. “She has supported us through multiple branding and name changes, the addition of new technology, and helped us keep caring for our community through difficult days, including the last few years of a global pandemic. When I think of leaving a legacy, I think of Ruth. She has touched many lives through her career at Ozarks Healthcare.”
