Growing for Your Community’s Health: Ozarks Healthcare adds Rheumatology to Services Offered at Mountain Grove Location
Ozarks Healthcare is continuing its focus on bringing health specialty services to its locations in surrounding communities with the latest addition of rheumatology services at its location in Mountain Grove.
Dr. Arif Ahmed and Dr. Sathish Itikyala, rheumatologists at Ozarks Healthcare Rheumatology, can diagnosis and treat musculoskeletal diseases and systemic autoimmune conditions commonly referred to as rheumatic diseases on site at Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove. Diseases and conditions that are under the rheumatology umbrella can affect joints, muscles, and bones and cause pain, swelling, stiffness, and even deformity.
Diagnosis of such a condition often starts with a visit to a primary care provider. Dr. Sarah Williams provides primary care at Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove, and Stephan Yost, physician’s assistant (PA) provides walk-in care. Patients will need a referral from a provider to use rheumatology services from Ozarks Healthcare, but can call Ozarks Healthcare’s Rheumatology Clinic (located in West Plains) at 417-256-1764 to have any questions answered.

In addition to rheumatology services and primary care, Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove also offers walk-in services daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Walk-in treatment is targeted for minor trauma and illnesses that require same-day attention but are not severe enough for a trip to an emergency department.
Currently, Ozarks Healthcare in Mountain Grove also offers pulmonology and cardiology care. Dr. Biplab Saha, pulmonologist at Ozarks Healthcare Pulmonology, started seeing patients at Ozarks Healthcare’s locations in Mountain Grove, Gainesville, Thayer, and Winona last year. Saha can care for patients suffering from effects of tobacco or cigarette smoke, household carcinogens, outdoor air pollution, allergens, and the after-effects of COVID-19. Saha can care for Mountain Grove patients needing advanced bronchoscopic procedures and works with primary care providers to develop a specific care plan and continuum of care for each patient. Dr. Archana Sinha, cardiologist at Ozarks Healthcare’s Heart and Lung Center, also sees patients in Mountain Grove and can treat basic to advanced heart conditions, along with the recovery process from heart attacks. Sinha also works with primary care providers and therapists regularly to care for each stage of heart conditions in patients.
Therapists from Ozarks Healthcare Therapies in West Plains also travel to Mountain Grove to provide physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy. Ozarks Healthcare’s Behavioral Health Center (BHC) also has mental health therapists and community health support specialists available at Mountain Grove to provide mental health services to children and adults.
