Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center to host Peer Support Group for Veterans
The Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (BHC) is starting a Veterans Peer Support Group for former and current military members.
The group is being hosted to help effectively address the needs of the veteran, National Guard, and reservist communities. A relaxed and confidential environment will be provided for those attending in hopes of encouraging past and current transitional experiences to be shared with other veterans.
“We are proud to offer this support group to our past and present military members of our community,” Cody Voyles, Clinical Support Services (CSS), Master Intern at Ozarks Healthcare Behavioral Health Center (BHC), said. “It is always our goal to continue help finding ways to help those who have served our country.”
The group will meet every Thursday, starting Oct. 14, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Ken Joplin Conference Room, which is located at #23 Parkway Center at 1211 Porter Wagoner Blvd. in West Plains.
Veterans’ benefits or service connections are not required to attend. Reservations are not required, but are appreciated. Seating is limited. To make a reservation or for more information, please contact Voyles at 417-257-6762 ext. 4124.
